Did you win a permit to float the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon? Maybe you want to be able to confidently and safely take your family down the Grand Rhond. Our private rowing instruction will help you to become more confident and competent on the river. Our curriculum focuses on “safe” boating practices to help you manage risk and avoid hazards associated with river travel. We also take pride in our world-class whitewater rowing curriculum that is certain to take your technical ability to the next level.
Based in Hood River, our classroom is in the scenic Columbia River Gorge giving us access to a variety of rivers ranging in difficulty. We can provide an experience based on your comfort level that will maximize learning outcomes. Whether you have never been behind the oars, or have a few seasons under your life jacket our instruction will help you become more successful with reading water, ferrying, and catching eddies.
